Description

This combination set includes a Thomastik Spirocore Tungsten C string paired with a Spirocore Silver G string, together with Larsen Forte A and D strings. The Silver G offers a slightly warmer and rounder character than the Tungsten G, which can be helpful on cellos that respond better to a less aggressive G string.

The Larsen Forte A and D provide a little more tension, power, and edge compared with the standard Larsen Mediums, giving added projection and focus in the upper register while still retaining the warmth and flexibility that Larsen strings are known for. This set works well for players who want a strong lower register with a more soloistic feel on the top two strings.
