The Musilia M5 and M6 cello cases are built specifically for Montagnana-style or wide-body 4/4 cellos that cannot fit securely in standard Strad-model cases. These models offer the same carbon fiber durability and advanced suspension design found in Musilia’s S-series cases, but with a wider contour and customizable interior support.

Many wide instruments do not sit safely in Strad-model cases, leading to unnecessary movement, pressure points, or stress on the bridge. The M5/M6 design prevents these issues through expanded interior dimensions and an adjustable endpin lift that allows the cello to be raised or lowered for a perfect center alignment.
