Description

This combination set uses a Thomastik Spirocore Tungsten C string with a Spirocore Silver G string, paired with Larsen SOLO Forte A and D strings. The Silver G provides a slightly warmer and rounder sound than the Tungsten G, which can be a good match for cellos that respond better to a less aggressive G string.

The Larsen SOLO Forte A and D offer higher tension and greater projection than both the standard Larsen Mediums and the regular Larsen SOLO strings. They produce a brilliant, powerful, and focused upper register with strong carrying power, while still retaining the warmth and flexibility associated with Larsen strings. This set is well-suited to players who want maximum projection and clarity in the upper strings while keeping a strong, responsive lower register.
